L'Atelier de Paris
David Laurent 39 years and Guillaume Vande Capelle 24 years met in 2014 in Belgium, their native country and neighbor of France. Guillaume worked 2 years for David's company. A pastry shop offering a variety of sweet products such as macaroons and cakes. Over time, a great friendship and trust was born between the two men sharing the same passion for their profession.
The San Diego area was an obvious choice for the creation of the future company. David and Guillaume share the same passion for the California coast, her culture and her climate after a long trip each on the West Coast.
From the opening, customers will discover a warm and welcoming space with a french industrial decoration. Regarding pastry, we will offer different tastes of macaroons, tart with fresh fruit and some of french classics pastry. Croissant, coffees, teas, fresh juice will also be on the menu for a good breakfast. Don’t forget the salty side for breakfast and lunch with omelets, burgers, tasty sandwiches and salads. The last European touch that David and Guillaume wish to bring in California is an assortment of belgian beers and french wines to taste. In summary, « L’atelier de Paris » will be a place dedicated to greeting patrons.
